Dear Community Partners,
I hope this message finds you well and healthy. In response to COVID-19, we wanted to share with you some information.
As of March 16, PHF staff are working remotely and have suspended all in-person meetings and site visits. E mail is the best way to reach staff. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
For organizations currently in the Large Grant application process, we understand that you may be encountering unexpected challenges and resource constraints due to the COVID-19 situation. We are not making any wholesale changes at this time to the grant application process because of the fluid nature of the situation. That being said, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need support or any accommodations around the grant application process.
For current grantees, if you have concerns about your current grants and meeting deliverables, please note that PHF will be maintaining a great deal of flexibility and we will not disrupt funding because of challenges related to COVID-19. We understand that there may be a decrease or halt in direct services and that your efforts may need to be diverted to more immediate needs. Please do contact us if you would like to divert funds to other uses and we are available to discuss this further with you. We are tracking the need and communication from you so that we can make adjustments to all grants overall if necessary.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or let us know how we can support you. I encourage you all to put into place good public health practices including frequent washing of hands (for at least 20 seconds) and social distancing. Please continue to visit the CDC and VDH websites for updated information.
